Based on recent reviews (and without having tried it by myself), I'd say some of those reviews don't have the recommended minimum specs as you say... Personally I bought it today but the friend I'm going to play with tonight's been playing for some weeks now without issues... I hope it runs well on your new computer now 😉

Haha, I already finished that game last week 😬 I liked it way more than It Takes Two—probably because of the mix of sci-fi and fantasy. Not that I didn’t enjoy It Takes Two, don’t get me wrong… but I liked Split Fiction a lot more.
