I assure you, our country will resist automation that massively replaces human workers. It would cause chaos. In places like Canadian or Australian mines, maybe—but here, foreign investors are welcome only for the jobs they create. Take that away, and things will get messy.

I get it. Why was she on a government continuity re-training mission with just 500 flight hours? Shouldn't they choose the most experienced pilots for such tasks? Even if it's just training, why focus on that mission?

Before COVID hit, the economy was thriving on all fronts. Inflation was under 2%, unemployment hovered around 3.5%, and housing was very affordable. Plus, S&P 500 yields were impressive.
