General design and user input has changed surprisingly little.

The split mouse buttons and trackball seem uncharacteristically unergonomic, but otherwise agree.

Apparently this was one of the first devices to center the trackpad below the keyboard, which would become the reigning standard for 30+ yrs to come

Yeah, those buttons/trackball is an abomination. Love the trackpad on the MacBook Pro but I still think it’s much room for improvement. 

Neurolink or similar device might finally disrupt both mouse and keyboard one day though.
