that’s where the name came from :)

i needed a community thing when i first moved to Boston. there were official, professional running groups like Tracksmith/Heartbreak, but it was hard for me to connect with them.

i wanted an “unofficial” run club, organized like a DAO. an official but unofficial community.

and also where the logo comes from too haha. it’s a finish flag! no better feeling than seeing hard work pay off.

You were ahead of the times! Funny how this all comes full circle.
