seems like some folks rush to perform the rain dance when they see a developer make time for themselves or chase a different thing. Farcaster will be fine, the problems are straightforward. podcasting took a decade+ to iterate on RSS feeds (awful UX), and today no one is saying podcasting is dead anymore (good UX).

we need: 1. net new content only available on Farcaster. 2. better discovery models originating from onchain identities/contracts. 3. to scale to 100x more users. we don't need: 1. casino. 2. engagement games. 3. token schemes.

do you think there are still opportunities for net new content on farcaster without a revenue model? most of us see the token schemes as a replacement for ad models which would then drive growth. this would be a positive change to the stats quo the bigger picture problem might be that no one cares about good content on social media, social media in the form of text on an app is ded on arrival

I still think farcaster should stop trying to be like Twitter or calling itself decentralized Twitter. Instead we need type of contents available only on farcaster instead of trying to copy twitter. That's my opinion.
