Tariffs will be mostly fine. A lot of tech manufacturing is moving out of China, anyways. We moved on from Japan to China in the 90's when Japan became too expensive.

In 2008 your parents noticed your lemonade stand isn't doing well, so they:

Gave you money to buy more lemons and cups
Helped you build nicer lemonade stands
Hired your friends who didn't have jobs to help
Made rules to make sure everyone's lemonade was safe to drink

In 2025 they..

Take back some of the money they gave you for supplies
Stopped showing up to see how you were doing
Don't care if others use fake lemonade powder

So you end up with less money, and you spend less, and everyone gets scared to spend on each other. Market crashes.
