I’m ambivalent with this one as it invites dishonest edits that invalidate replies. I would prefer to append edits with a “Edit #n” prefix, which preserves on-chain immutability and forces us to be thoughtful and intentional before pressing “Cast”.

1. losing the original and replacing it with a copy is deletion, not modification.

2. do you lose reactions and likes when you delete and re-submit the message?

3. what happens to orphaned replies and reactions if #2 is true?
