yesterday was my 2 year anniversary of joining Farcaster! i was at the gym in SoHo when i onboarded and saved my account details to a passkey. it was really simple, and i was excited to show my friend, who also thought it was cool. the community was small and intimate, and we only needed each other.

lol yeah it’s been an eternity. the feed was fairly dead this time last year. it felt like permissionless was a non-event!

I’ve been here 7-8 months and that feels like eternity so it’s hard for me to comprehend what two years feels like 🤯 I’m grateful to be here now

yeah super niche community that slowly grows with the meta on crypto and social. it’s not for everyone, but one day i can imagine it is.

I listened to this X space today with @kayvon and it reminded me today what a special place Farcaster is. The on-chain art community as a whole is in disarray. But, people here are in the trenches building, surrounded by people with open minds and optimism. I’ve been able to quietly collect art and get some skin in the game just by showing up daily and sharing my art and thoughts. People on X are not having the same experience. I’m looking forward to my next phase of Farcaster where I will start building my own projects.
