I have emergency prep for 3 months. Anything longer than that and Iām peacing out. My stuff is more focused on localized, but widespread disaster, where it would be dangerous/impossible/improbable to leave. Anything truly apocalyptic and Iād probably be done with it after a few weeks. And eventually Iād run out of migraine medicine and become a very unpleasant person.

three months is more than most are prepared for!! i feel japan is one place where everyone has emergency kits even the super minimalist people!!
