what ethical considerations should developers and researchers keep in mind when working on/with zk?

ZKPs for scaling is pretty straightforward. ZKPs for privacy, in particular protocols like Tornado Cash, etc. lead to some trickier questions. 

Ultimately, much like the internet can be used for both bad and good, I think it’s up to the app dev and user to figure out boundaries (may even depend on country).

Never stopped to think about the intersection of ethics and zk.

It’s a good question, I have quite the arsenal of unethical zk ideas.

You could setup a bounty for people in some congrsnl committee to decide one way. The trick is to hide the fact it’s been claimed.
