Actually that’s the reason I got this one over say the Tower Garden. Because they still have a squarish cube to grow in, you can get your own grow cubes with your own seeds. In fact the strawberries on the top row are our seeds shoved into our grow cubes. Just keep and clean the plastic coatings from the initial plants they give you
