I just spent an hour in target buying things for my daughterโ€™s freshman dorm. The dichotomy between the I-donโ€™t-even-know-what-to-call-it-section - toiletries, self care, personal hygiene, whatever- for girls vs boys is totally freaking me out. Itโ€™s a 12:1 aisle ratio. Twelve aisles of skin care, hair care, makeup, and more, marketed to girls, to a single aisle marketed to guys. What is happening? Iโ€™m counting the cumulative time girls are wasting choosing products. Someone tell me Iโ€™m wrong to be depressed?

Haaaa thank you. I found out it was actually a whole Ulta inside of a target, so then I started to feel better bc it made more sense, but then I got even more enraged bc wtf does there need to be a whole Ulta inside a target, taunting girls who just need a tube of toothpaste ๐Ÿ˜
