When I decided to go nomad in 2021, I didn't know that I was going to drop regular exercise from my life. In 2023, when I "came off the road" and settled in Brooklyn, I started working out again, but then I suffered major injuries (one required surgery) and had to sit on the sidelines again. I finally got back into the gym a few months ago, but then I strained another muscle. I did a few PT sessions and have been able to keep it up in the gym, but man... I had no idea when I left LA in 2021 that my 10 years of consistent working out was going to go out the window and that the road back was going to be this hard. It's tough, but I am committed to keeping it going. I am out of town for the month of August and in order to make sure I don't fall off, I came up with a simple program to build up my push-ups, sit-ups, and squats that I can do at home. Today I set baselines and will report here on progress over the next 4 weeks. Test: - 17 max push-ups - 45 2-min sit-ups - 65 2-min squats

This is a serious concern of mine as I consider going nomad in 2026. I'm in some of best shape of my life with my routine now and I'm concerned with losing it. This is helpful, but I'll likely do youtube yoga and pilates as well. 1111 $farther for you ser.
