Anyone get on perspectives on local coins? as in having a erc-20 for my town? I don't know where to start looking or thinking about this. Is it an idea with any potential? Anyone working on it?

thanks for sharing these @borrowlucid.eth - my take out: there isn't yet a playbook, there is much to be solved, and we are in the early stages of all of this. If I want to set up something in my local town it would be inventing our own wheel to do it, rather than using an existing solution. Have I understood the state of play correctly?

I personally don't know of a playbook, but I also haven't tried to implement something, while others have. Maybe they have a playbook, not sure, but there is information, like case studies. I believe Oakland has used a local currency. Will look for information on that.
