Yeah same! In the few days since I switched this on, I  actually had 5-10 people reply with a simple greeting (just sent a reaction back) and one serious potential collaboration

It's low stakes, but I think it's a positive because the status quo without the auto-DM would be no contact at all?

I turned it off in the end, only because it made a mess of my DMs. It was a slight positive, but not worth the cost.
