Oooooofff that's though. The fear/threat of instability is a real one. 

So far I have 2 regrets: not buying a pair of shoes in Sevilla, and not buying a house in Atlanta in 2011.

You'll get those shoes, but not sure about the house. Houses are crazy expensive these days :(

Hence the regret 😭 almost entire streets were for sale, but I had just graduated college (in the recession) and didn't think it was a feasible idea.
