One misconception I see about spam labeling: "I'm a real human. I'm not a bot."

Claiming "I'm not a bot" doesn't change the quality of your content. If you're farming replies and not being thoughtful, that's spam.

And saying "Oh, I was just hoping to make some money, I'll do better in the future" doesn't work. Because every spammer will say the same thing.

It's not hard to not be spammy. Just cast a little less, be a little more thoughtful.

If I promote my channel in comments on thematic posts that I find by keywords, it will probably be spam, right?
