1. Used CDJs
2. DJed off of a flash drive. Computer only.

imo the main benefit of CDJs is the portability of your sets via USB

other than that, a controller / laptop can move the crowd just the same. most sets just come down to loops, tempo shift, beat jumping, and cue points

The one thing i like about CDJs is that i can use multiple decks instead of the 2. I still wanna go back to 3 decks however i aint spending a grand for another one ontop of my controllers.
