Farcaster /writinghackathon submission:
In Nov 2022 I quit my job and gave myself 1.5 years to try "starting my own thing". If I was able to find some momentum by then, great. If not, I'd go back and get a job.
Then, 3 days later, the FTX collapse happened and the majority of my crypto holdings were taken away from me in a blink of an eye.
At that point, I was in a weird state of my life. Felt like I was starting from scratch - both with work and profits.
I can't explain why, but for whatever reason that I ended up on Farcaster around then. If it weren't for this amazing community, there's a solid chance I would have left crypto.
That 1.5 year time period ends in 2 days (June 2024) and it feels great to say that I'm at a place where I've found momentum, am working in an amazing community, have a company & product, and love how I spend my days.
Walking through the "Farcaster arch" was game changer. Forever grateful regardless of what happens to FC in the future.
