lemon3 is an open source program that uses IPFS and Farcaster to allow decentralized file hosting and sharing. It's a mini Farcaster client and an IPFS node, and allows uploading and downloading files. Coming soon We will be working with developers / projects that want to give users airdrops. We’ll indicate what the developer is hoping to accomplish with the airdrop. Users that 1) opt in 2) do the desired action—use a frame, engage in a channel, etc.—will start to develop reputation as a good user to offer future airdrops to. Users that opt in, receive airdrops and don’t do the desired action will develop a reputation as a user to avoid offering airdrops. Ultimately, developers get to decide who to target (the data is permissionless). But I suspect airdrops on Farcaster will start to reward usage / go forward alignment. First airdrop next week!

We're explicitly not focussed on creating a magic "should you buy this" notification. What we are focussed on is making it easier to find things that are gaining traction, understand the provenance/lore behind them and then make it easy to participate (if you choose to) We believe this will encourage more tokens that are focussed on long term communities and products over short term gains.

Reminder: there's also plenty of people who have lost huge amounts of crypto to *loss* rather than theft. Software bug, forgotten password, lost device, paper wallet burned down in LA fire, upgraded device without backing up data .... lots of ways for that to happen. Because there's no attacker to go after, victims don't have a strong need to talk about it. And often because they see no one to blame but themselves, victims will be too ashamed to talk about it. But it happens. Often. And the truly robust wallet security solutions that our ecosystem needs to build should take loss into account too. (This is a big part of why I talk about social recovery so much!)

Warpcast Rewards Making a few tweaks mid week to prevent algo gaming: - Only top 100 casts count towards score. - Only X engagements from a user will count (exact number tbd) Most users will see a moderate decrease to scores, accounts that were gaming the system should see a larger decrease
