We're explicitly not focussed on creating a magic "should you buy this" notification. What we are focussed on is making it easier to find things that are gaining traction, understand the provenance/lore behind them and then make it easy to participate (if you choose to) We believe this will encourage more tokens that are focussed on long term communities and products over short term gains.

Feels dangerous and something that might encourage upvote cartel type behavior. Could you apply plurality voting if some sort? Discount qyadratically by network correlation of buyers?

only thing i'd change is sending the notif sooner (on basis of less trade activity amongst people i follow) so it's not a top signal

I think this is a good idea too an extent. If there is anyway to manipulate this by having bots or a mass amount of people trade at the same time to trigger this notification couldn't it lead to people getting scammed obviously people need to only buy something they trust but I feel like this is a bit of a double edged sword as some traders here are new.

The problem is that the tokens are most likely overbought when they start trending. Nobody wants to be exit liquidity. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I think that explaining the context of the token is very important, just saying that everyone is buying it could lead to an impulsive decision of buying it.
