Why turned off DMs except for those I follow: • DMs here are not a reliable way to reach me • It can be overwhelming to sort through the noise of countless DM requests • It's not how I'd like to spend my time (sorting DMs) If you need to reach me, and I don't follow you, create a cast with your ? for me and @ me

Hmmm I like it BUT you know people would scrub with a brush and ruin in I bet there is an even better oleophonic coating that would work 😉 I feel I've seen some video online But it's expensive! And hydrochloric acid is cheap 😂

I had a pixel 6a I got nearly 2 years exactly Battery was still decent; I use my computer all day not my phone But the Google store gave me $225 for the 6a; I wouldn't be able to sell it on Craigslist for that easily So the camera and specs on this phone are a large upgrade but from appearance it's like an iPhone knock off 😂 I've made peace; id rather trade in my phone every two years and just take what they give versus run it into the ground.

There are nice features! Don't get me wrong The fingerprint reader is so MUCH FASTER it's near instant And the camera features are cool though idk how often I'll use em And battery life barely budges! But I recall going down an iPhone 5 to an iPhone 6. It was like camera significantly better, oohh different shape, long press button... Y'know if felt like an upgrade This feels like an update

Agreed I think we've really reached a sweet spot to meet the needs of consumers (screen vs camera vs battery etc.) It's like when was the last time the clarinet got a real hardware upgrade? Or a violin? They don't cause they have reached their final form. Everything else is superficial

OMG I wanna a flip phone but I don't want Samsung and the Motorola reviews were dismal. I don't like the fold left to right, I want the flip from up to down. Pixel fold is not the direction I like. Remember flip phones? And getting off a call and snapping it shut, fucking satisfying! BRING IT BACK but with clean android install please 🤞

🫶 Respect Even if it creates more tech waste and what capitalism wants-- I'm at a stage where I'd rather trade in my device when it still has a good trade in value & has a higher likelihood of being refurbished, resold than riding it out until the end of its life. Though it seems imma ride my personal laptop till the end 😂

I got the Pixel 9 yesterday cause trade in value was good and discount decent. I've never been so underwhelmed by a new phone; it'd be the same if it was an iPhone tbh. The WOWOW factor of phones is long gone.
