Technically, yes, especially now with the M chips and Octane.. All the graphics were created on macOS in illustrator and photoshop, along with most of the models in C4D, aside from some sculptures created on iPadOS.. The render itself was performed on my windows rig, only because it has 2x4080 Supers this 240 frame sequence took a little over four hours to render

🫨thank you for breaking it down. Really incredible the hardware and time it takes to create it. This is so fucking cool! I had an acquaintance who did 3D art but switched to Windows to use Blender with a good graphics card. Do you feel the time it takes to create art like this is similar to say stop motion that is also time and (different) resource intensive?

Stop motion might technically take even more time, but yeah, if you’re creating all the models and animations yourself, it’s days to weeks to months of work altogether, depending on the scope of your animation and efforts What you’re seeing here with my animation are the fruits of my efforts of learning all this stuff with 3D modeling and animation starting around 2015-2016 up until present day..

Incredible! Rome wasn't built in a day! I think as we grow older we forget what it's like to start at 0 or close to it. And if it doesn't come easily to a newbie then it must be magic. I hope the younger generations have the determination to learn something that isn't instantly easy 🤞 as civilization marches forward, I think we humans are losing patience for crafts and arts. For example, whose carving marble like Canova? Who can afford to with cost of living also 😬 Okay, I'm diverging now 😂
