If you ever had a computer shrine like this in your house growing up you really enjoyed a golden era of entertainment and reasonable doses of information. This was peak internet and computer-usage generally The Marc Andreesen quote about “software eating the world” is really true. Back then, when you stepped away from this hardware setup the software couldn’t really get you. I also find the old BlackBerry devices to have been more aesthetically tasteful and with the right degree of psychological immersion. There should be a retro movement in electronic devices.
