It took me a long time to really understand and thus come around on memecoins. I’m not going to intellectualize them but I don’t think they are some evil mechanism that is bad for the industry. The main thing I’ve been thinking a lot about is @jacob saying we should just call them memes and I agree with that.

You make some great points. This is how I'm feeling as I'm coming around to the thought that investments can be fun and something to do less seriously (based on risk profile, ofc). I think we're closer to the place where memes will have currency utility and can be spent on goods and services - focused on a specific community or otherwise.
