It took me a long time to really understand and thus come around on memecoins. I’m not going to intellectualize them but I don’t think they are some evil mechanism that is bad for the industry. 

The main thing I’ve been thinking a lot about is @jacob saying we should just call them memes and I agree with that.

The entire token and its movement is a meme. We buy it all together and sell it all together based on some current memetic value.

It’s not the art or the ticker that is tokenized into a meme it’s an entire memetic experience around a token.

I don't think they are evil mechanisms that are bad for this industry either, but I think that its important to understand what these are

tokenizing a meme is a bad mental model, implies we can contain and capture and atomize the magic produced by a network. 

better to just bring the tokens (fun and chill on their own, but not necessarily so obviously) into much closer proximity to where memes naturally grow
