Is it possible for the US government to create a crypto currency and force people to use it instead of any other cryptocurrency?

Like the CBDC, they have already. Not that they are forcing anyone as of yet but there is a digital currency in place. Last year, FL governor signed a Anti CBDC bill into law restricting the use of central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) in the state. https://x.com/samuelarmes/status/1653761904169320448?t=JOqiclaZrpGHnFRkvwr74A&s=19 https://www.federalreserve.gov/cbdc-faqs.htm

They could try, but it would require creating a central bank digital currency ("CBDC") and then banning all privately issued digital assets. Personally, I think that's unlawful and/or unconstitutional at least a half dozen ways, and lawsuits would start flying immediately if they tried. I don't see it happening.
