So these dudes from CT have been bragging on the TL about being insiders and using their followers as exit liquidity. They’re actually kind of running a marketing strategy around it. It’s basically all I see over there atm. They trade from relatively large-sized, doxxed wallets (a few mill in each). When I first got into crypto I remember people getting what we called, “$5 wrench attacked.” A cheeky name to express how easy this “exploit” is compared to the expense of running an actual hack. Essentially an assailant discovers you hold lots of crypto and physically threatens you until you give up your keys. I was the victim of a similar attack a few years ago and it’s the primary reason I don’t trade size on doxxed accounts. And I was lucky. Some of the folks I know have literally washed up on shore. That’s not a joke. I pray these guys don’t let clout chasing lead them too far down a dangerous path.
