I don't think any chain (L1 or L2) can claim to have "good UX" until transactions consistently cost <$0.01, confirm in 1 second or less, and rarely if ever fail.

The chain also needs to be able to maintain all of this in periods of extreme demand.

Curious.. How much time do you spend studying other chains (eg. Cosmos, Solana)?

I’m all in on eth but other ecosystems are informative for how eth may/can evolve. 

FWIW, I spend 99% studying Ethereum; that’s why I ask.
