What’s currently the best free resource to learn to code?

Assume I have no specific goals, I just want to do it for intellectual enrichment.

With zero context - this is a great starting point

But as soon as you find something you think is interesting, going deep on the specific thing is way more useful for you

I can only share my perspective as a fellow “non-coder”. I know basic SQL and python. Python is fun way to learn about how to think as a programmer. Automate the boring stuff with python. The biggest hurdle is consistency given that you have no specific goals (nothing wrong w that). I was in the same boat.
