From what I’ve heard, not many downsides. But it depends on what apps you consider essential. 

Some would argue the phone should only be used to call your loved ones, urgent calls, and buying things with bitcoin. lol

A bit extreme. But I agree with the overall point of reducing the noise and being more present.

What are the downsides? Are there's apps that you can't get or don't work?
