On the burn: On one hand, it’s clever as hell, novel game theory, interesting, etc. Feels like a payoff moment in a nonfiction book playing out in real time On the other I think it enshrines a major cultural failure mode as an inevitability I think we can solve this without threatening to light our money on fire
