I watched Barbie for the first time last night and I don’t know what to think… and I like to think!  What were people’s reaction to the movie?

i enjoyed it as a movie; however, all the discourse surrounding it is very unnecessary and takes away the point of making and watching a movie for fun; it has its good, boring and great moments

heavy marketing for the movie + all social media hype did set a wrong expectation for the movie
