Channel Leads We're going to try an experiment for the next 6 weeks. For 20 or so channels, we're going to have a *lead*. I'm going to be working with this group to try to significantly increase quality casts and engagement in their channels. If you're interested in applying: https://forms.gle/LYsuqsofMR24LF3b9

if channel lead is publicly visible 1. they get hate from one person or another for a myriad of reasons 2. they get tagged a lot, even for minor reasons and their own social experience declines if not publicly visible 1. the game becomes to identify them 2. then whether right or wrong, the same experience ^

Will be publicly visible. For 1 and 2. That's just called being prominent on social media. Difference between here and reddit is we're majority real identities, like Twitter. Also the core of the community is more civil. Will give these people tools to improve their own experience as well as the channel.

Does it matter if you get hate? You’re being asked to do a job. Don’t let how someone feels about that affect you personally. Also that job requires answering a lot of queries. Don’t signup if that’s not what you’re looking for.
