In GER, sadly, hate groups used it as a symbol - chronologically - immediately after the first Hamas attack and prior to Israel's attrocious ongoing response, leading to a quick response by the executive branch they now have a problem on going back on for whatever reason. It's still forbidden in Berlin schools but I assume because Berlin authority is absolutely overwhelmed with deescalation tasks. It's a pre-emptive measure out of capitulation rather than out of autocratic censorship purposes.
