I find mainstream liberals an easy target because they rationalize their political beliefs to an absurd level.

Whereas average conservative is honest: I’m voting for the non-liberal candidate. I don’t care about the rationale or logic.

If average liberal: I’m voting because it’s my team and I don’t care about anything else, I would have more respect. Pure tribal affiliation. Politics is to help those you like and hurt those you don’t. Very Lindy.

Not much of a shift tbh. His vote % on eligible remained similar. Dems lost votes to non-voters and 3rd parties.

I was using actual figures from a few days ago, Nate's here is an estimation (probably will be more accurate in a few days).

Also I was extrapolating the number from the # of eligible voters (244 vs 240) - 2% difference from that too.

Ultimately you're right though - I think it'll look like Harris lost 7-8m votes, not 15m
