i owed 100% of the advance back before i’d see any royalties. i knew that upon signing. what i failed to recognize was that my catalog wouldn’t get much love from the team — they failed to secure me any opportunities that could make the catalog any money on the pub side (syncs, cuts etc) 

i’m pretty excited about the new zora protocol, and bringing liquid markets to music tokens :) experimenting w them w this first song i minted on the new protocol:

Congrats! I bet it feels amazing to have the freedom to explore your creativity on your own terms. Im curious, did you know about the 75% you'd owe back before signing the deal, or was that something you found out afterward? Also, would love to hear more about the opportunities you see onchain. Are there any specific platforms you're considering for distribution?
