we did this last spring, we will resume it again now, cuz why not. it is pretty simple, you post a long and/or short thesis on something that is *not* a financial asset (regardless of liquidity, so you also can't like, long a startup for example). so it should be like, a trend or concept or something. ideally you add some reasoning to your thesis and it is sufficiently contrarian that there is still "upside".

working with v0 is making me want to learn how to get into the code and make quick frontend changes myself. sometimes feels slower / less precise to tell v0 what to do then me just doing exactly what i want. 

maybe this is where Cursor can come in?

My name is Matthew Chaim and I’m a 34yo freshly minted dad from Montreal, Canada. I’m a music artist (you can find my release catalog under my name on any streaming app) and have been building experimental onchain music projects since 2021 with @songcamp.

I’m starting a new farcaster-native music project called @acidtest launching v soon, well before we all meet in brooklyn.

i didn’t understand why mine was just a black square but now i do

i’m not sure the pivot is better or it’s worse. 

i’m also not sure it’s a pivot from collectors to profit seeking traders over long term 

to me it’s instagram with a financial market baked into each piece of content instead of an engagement market. simple as that. and rn the most efficient and interoperable crypto markets run on erc20 infra. things always have a price. they also reduce complexity away from understanding how orderbook secondary markets work. 

the question is can this mature beyond pure short term speculation at scale? i don’t think that question is much different if it was a 1155 or 721 system instead. the answers just manifest a bit differently. with 20s you get quick boom and busts. with nft’s you get illiquid secondaries and a slowly dying off primary. 

that question may have a better chance of being answered if the best type of financial market is attached to the content. zora is saying: maybe it’s 20’s. (cont’d..)
