How do other parents talk to their kids about Santa? We decided not to say for sure he exists/doesn’t, but instead just say “what do you think?” and encourage the kids to imagine possible ways he could exist or not. Curious how others approach this.

Depends on the age. When our daughter was 2-3, we celebrated solstice and still did presents. No mention of Santa. She was so brainwashed by daycare, school, friends etc she totally forgot and was all in on Santa, I didn't have the heart to Ruin The magic so have just gone along with it. She is 7 now and asked me about it last month and I did the same thing: I asked her what she thought.
