The founder and former CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao, has been released from U.S. custody after serving a four-month sentence. He was pleaded guilty to charges related to Binance's failure to prevent widespread criminal activity on its platform and paid a $50 million fine. As part of his plea agreement, Zhao agreed to never again serve as a Binance executive. Zhao's release marks the end of a significant chapter in his life, but it's not the end of his involvement in the crypto world. Despite stepping down as CEO, he retains an estimated 90% stake in Binance, making him the 25th richest person in the world with a net worth of $61 billion🤯
