It reduces fees but they don’t go away. But lower fees can also lead to more demand hence higher prices (what economists call “induced demand”). 

With low enough fees, apps can subsidize fees the way web2 apps today pay for web hosting costs, which is what I think/hope is the end state.

Chris, I’ve been using your “concentric circles” visual in conversations for the last week. It’s the best way to conceptualize the trajectory and the opportunity. Can’t wait to see where this takes us.
