because we could! it was midpandemic, prevaxx, so we went out & did the dispersed camping thing. there were maybe 150ppl on the entire playa. our playa neighbor ryan brought a 40’ poofer tower that was rad. big fire. no rules, hardcore LNT, big fun. danced, drove 70mph on open playa, camped by Coyote Dunes, biked to Trego…

it was pretty damn special if you can make it out there anytime when the event is NOT going on, highly, highly recommended — hundreds of square miles to explore snap here is from up above the Black Rock itself — the playa in the DISTANCE in that shot is the playa you know and love
