I've recently started rereading The Dragonlance Chronicles, one of my favorite series from childhood. It is cheesy and obviously heavily inspired by the Lord of the Rings, but something about revisiting old characters and stories is comforting.

Cyberpunk 2020 books are this for me. Pretty cheesy but I feel a little like a kid reading them.
