I am maybe 6 months into using Starlink as my every day Internet and its been incredibly reliable.

I had it go out once for some really crazy tropical rain, otherwise solid. Would not be surprised if their was regional variability.

I had a different experience. It works for me about 90% of the time (livng in a non-populated area) with 100% visibility. And when it rains, it starts working terribly. When it works, it does it really well tho.

I suppose there are still some geographical areas where they need to improve coverage.

I know a lot of people here in the jungles of Costa Rica that use it for home internet. Even if it isn't 100% reliable, the timeline for getting a different provider is just interminable.
