People on Twitter think it’s more important than it is. No technology gets adopted because of twitter. No economies grow because of twitter. No investments are made because of Twitter.

Really? AI is happening because of Twitter? SaaS happened because of Twitter?

Our reliance on X as an industry probably stunts us rather than accelerates us. No business cares about twitter, they care about IG and TikTok

I don’t see a lot of Coinbasers tweeting. McDonalds cares about its presence there too.

I kinda see where you are going with this but tech businesses do care about twitter. e.g. coinbase does care about its twitter presence and the feedback it gets from there. 

Twitter feedback is usually more valuable than TikTok / IG because it has more crypto users and thus better feedback

Connections and relationships made over Twitter definitely influence the acceleration of every industry in tech imo. Both of the industries you mention are bigger and older than Twitter so yea they don’t happen “because of it” but they are influenced by it 100% imo
