I believe I just directly experienced a communist government official’s hostility towards me for being an American. They tried to stop me from leaving the country with my U.S. passport. A representative from Avianca had to step in. 

Would not recommend. 0/10.

Same thing i had but only it was Boryspil airport and they didn't get me through because i had a Russian passport, so i had to stay at the terminal watched by military forces untill the next scheduled flight back to Helsinki. Pretty ugly experience
