A review comparing the last two chicken sandwiches I ate, one from Great White in Venice, CA and the other the famous Popeyes chicken… The sandwich from Great White is better in every way but a particular stand out differentiation is that it seems it was made with cleaner oil. Like maybe that Popeyes oil hasn’t been changed in a while. I bet you can guess which one is which

And it’s very easy to notice and taste unchanged oil in food it can be pretty bad

i had the exact same impression last time i was at popeyes. the oil was super funky. maybe that's just the way it is and i'd forgotten but it was inedible

The cleaner oil in the Great White sandwich gives it a big edge, so I'd say that's the right one
