Blob storage on Ethereum nodes is temporary. They only need to be stored on the protocol long enough for L2 fraud proofs to play out. However, if you ever need data from pruned blobs, it becomes a 1 of n problem. Beyond just Google, you only need 1 other person in the world saving them
