The morning after the celebration, Gambino received a note from a raven bearing the seal of the House of Dragons. It was a message from Wellzy:

"While flying over enemy lands, I spotted a hidden encampment. Assemble a small force and prepare for an ambush. This is our chance to strike them where they least expect it."

Gambino quickly found Sir Caygeon and shared the news. “We need our best soldiers,” Gambino said. “The North won’t know what hit them.”

Caygeon nodded, understanding the urgency. Together, they gathered their most skilled warriors and prepared for the ambush.

The next morning, Gambino and his assembled force set out, moving swiftly toward the location Wellzy had marked. The dragon egg was left in trusted hands, its safety ensured while Gambino focused on the task ahead.

The path to the enemy encampment was treacherous, but Gambino’s resolve never wavered. He knew this strike could turn the tide of the war, bringing the South closer to victory.

Gambino and his force set out at dawn, moving swiftly toward the location Wellzy had marked. Spirits were high as they navigated the familiar terrain.

As they journeyed deeper, the sky darkened. A sudden storm unleashed torrential rain and howling winds, making the path treacherous.

Gambino called for a halt. "We need to find shelter and wait this out," he shouted over the roar of the wind.

The group took refuge beneath a rocky overhang, huddling together for protection. Gambino used the opportunity to discuss their strategy with Sir Caygeon, ensuring everyone was prepared for the ambush.

As the storm subsided, Gambino and his troops resumed their journey, invigorated by the challenge and more determined than ever to strike the enemy encampment by surprise.
