A lot of folks don’t realize how they are triggering the spam algo. I have some thoughts. When you mass reply to a few accounts and they don’t reply back, that’s a signal to the algo that you are being spammy. I don’t know this person and I have no idea what they are responding to based on these notifications. How am I supposed to respond to these? No context, one word replies…this is not good. This will probably trigger the algorithm.

bingo people act like it's a targeted system or something. the algo is designed to clean up pointless casts i feel for the farcaster team because they can't necessarily tell everyone how it works, it's their bread and butter after all i try and interact with anyone that seems genuine, but there's no way I'd put up with that kinda spam

A few weeks ago the info really wasn’t out there. It wasn’t clear what was “spammy” now it’s been spelled out and I’m still seeing this behavior. But ignoring it means the spam algorithm will catch it. So it’s working.
